Privacy Policy

Loci is a personal place-saving map. You sign in, drop pins on places you want to try or have been to, and optionally follow friends to see the places they've chosen to share. This policy explains what data that requires and how it's used.

• Account info — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.
• Places you save — the name, address, coordinates, category, status, rating, tags, and notes for each place you add.
• Friend connections — who you follow and who follows you, and the approval status of those requests.
• Device location — if you tap "locate me," your device shares its current position with the map so it can center on you and show a live location dot. This is used in the moment and is not stored on our servers.

Your account info and saved places are used to show you your own map, sync it across your devices, and — only for friends you've mutually accepted — let them see the places you've chosen to share. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

• Supabase hosts our database and handles authentication.
• Google provides sign-in and the Maps/Places data used to search for and display places.

Neither uses your Loci data beyond providing that infrastructure to us.

You can edit or delete any place, tag, or note you've added at any time from within the app. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below.

Loci is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
